oops!

Oops...my hair fell out early. This was not suppose to happen yet but on Saturday night my hair started falling out my the handfuls. It was real messy so my daughter came over with the clippers and now it is gone! How humbling is this?

  1. You are beautiful Nancye! Just remember the lyrics of India Arie's song:
    I am not my hair
    I am not this skin
I am not your expectations no no
    I am not my hair
    I am not this skin
I am a soul that lives within

    Stay strong sweet lady. xo

  4. Nancye, beloved!

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
"Poor in spirit" means to be humble. Humility is the realization that all your gifts and blessings come from the grace of God. To have poverty of spirit means to be completely empty and open to the Word of God. When we are an empty cup and devoid of pride, we are humble. Humility brings an openness and an inner peace, allowing one to do the will of God.

Remember He will work ALL things for your good! Jan

PS: I think you look a sexy, feminine version of Kojak, just stick a lollipop in your mouth!!

  8. Nancye, you look beautiful! Isn't it kind of fun to see your head :) I felt very liberated with my hair gone. Made life so much easier. And sometimes I even felt more feminine. Scarves are really fun too. Thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers.

  17. Oh honey..when I knew it was time for my hair to go...

I was at my grandson's football game, and my hair was blowing out in the wind..

Hubby shaved my head as soon as we got home.
That was the 2nd time..after whole brain radiation.

I think you look GREAT..but I do know how it feels to not have hair.
