Happy Father's Day to all of you fathers out there. I never had one and I haven't the slightest idea what it would feel like. I believe it is important though. Especially to little girls. Girls need a father figure so they can learn what to expect from the men in their lives. If you have one be grateful.

ReplyDeleteI always envied the girls who had a Dad that loved them and did things with them.... mine was a brute and a drunk...although, in retrospect...he definitely taught us a thing or two... his main lesson being ... 'money doesn't grow on trees' (unless he was spending it on booze, .. then we seemed to have an endless supply )...
