Working on more gallery items

This is fairy baby. ( reworked) I redid her hair with long
locks, added wings and placed her in a beaded flower.

Here's a book that I need to finish.
It has an original painting on the cover.
I will be adding more papers and fabrics to the inside along with words.
Then I'll finish it off with tons of fibers on the spine.
It is covered in beeswax.

Well, wouldn't you know it, just when I get into the swing of things in one part of my art life along comes another venue. I need to be finished with my gallery exhibit for the Performing Arts Center and have it delivered by Monday. WOW! That time went fast. I have a bunch of things started but as usual I always need to do finishing touches. So, I'll set aside the dolls for a day a so and then get back to them after the exhibit is delivered. My things will be on display for 2 months. I've never had them gone so long before. There will be a grand opening that I will attend and then after that, they just sit there. I'm a little worried they will be broken or maybe disappear. Oh well, what good is art if you're the only one who sees it?

That faery babe is adorable - she looks both new and ancient at the same time.

I love people. I love my family, my children...but inside myself is a place where I live all alone and that's where you renew your springs that never dry up.
