Latest work...

I haven't been doing much online lately. As a matter of fact I have been kind of depressed. I guess because that is what happens now in the Breast Cancer cycle. So I have been taking my time and working on this little doll. I haven't named her yet but she is gift for someone dear at Christmas time. I've learned a lot while making her. Both about sculpting a baby and about life. Still waiting for the bone scan results to come back and just taking easy during this stressful time of year.
Have Happy Holiday season however you celebrate it.
Peace, love and good health.

I think the holidays can be overwhelming even without the challenges you have been dealing with, Nancye. I have a breast ultrasound scheduled for the 26th having found a lump close to the skin. Let's pray for each other, shall we? And give thanks to the Holy One! Jan

...that is a beautiful baby! Looks so real!!
I'd like to take a moment to wish you a very Merry Christmas as well as a healthy & prosperous 2011. Health is always the most precious present that we can receive ...unfortunately we never appreciate it until we no longer have it.
big hugs Karin

Nancye,
I happened across your blog while looking for push molds. WOW! I love it! The last thing I need is a new "art" road to run down... But WOW! It's fantastic! Now, in addition to all my other projects, I want to get back into doll making! You are such an inspiration. Just looking at your pictures made we want to make dolls. I can't imagine what an actual class would do!
I'll visit again.

I love all your stuff, especially your snowmen. I emailed you last year & you spoke of your cancer. I had wondered through the holidays, as I looked at my men "snowmen", how you were. I was real glad to see your blog & know you are a fighter. Hang in there, we ALL love your work. You must be a beautiful person to make so many beautiful things! keep fighting girl!
