It's a New Day in America

Today we have a new president. I am so proud that we elected him. Here's to a new way in America. Here's to acceptance. Here's to moving out of scarcity. Here's to a powerful, honest, and joyful man! Here's to a kid who was called and answered. Here's to man, a husband, a father and a president. Here's to Barack Obama!

Yesterday was so exciting. I'm holding my breath to see if he can actually get the Washington dysfunction under some sort of control. I have HOPE.

I put up a post with almost the same title. Here's to HOPE! And I suspect, also, a lot of hard work from us all.

    Don't let us get old.
Don't let us get stupid, all right?
    Just make us be brave.
    And make us play nice.
And let us be together tonight.
