One week later...

It's been a week since chemo. This was not fun! The first day I was tired. The second I was terribly sick. The third day I was sick and tired. By day four I was able to keep food down. I'm still tired and weak. All I want to do is sleep and lay down. My mouth is dry and sore and the port hurts my chest. by the time I feel good again it will be time to start all over.
Other than that I'm still kickin!
I'm so glad I finished my rooms before the treatment started.

Oh Nancye, I'm glad to hear that you're "still kickin'", but my heart just goes out to you on all of the other things you are going through. I hope you can see the light at the end of the tunnel sweetie. xoxo

It will take a while, but you can do it. "This too shall pass." Hang in there Nancye.

  • Don't let us get sick.
    Don't let us get old.
Don't let us get stupid, all right?
    Just make us be brave.
    And make us play nice.
And let us be together tonight.

I love people. I love my family, my children...but inside myself is a place where I live all alone and that's where you renew your springs that never dry up.
