New PostI am slowly coming back to life. Of course it is time for another visit to the oncologist. Not really I guess, I need to be thankful for every minute that I feel good.
I've decided to sell some of art here and see how that works. So today I will list a doll that I created from polymer clay and cloth. She is hand painted and finished with a crackle glaze. She about 20 inches tall and I've used vintage fabric for her dress. If you are interested just email me at nancyebydesign@yahoo.com for cost and shipping. Yes, she can be there for Christmas.

You can only take one step at a time that was how my Nana Megicks, Mum and Sister delt with their breast cancers.
My mother Annie Lucy Violet lived until last year 81 years old with almost thiry years grace from her cancer, she was an amazing woman, she had her off days in the begining, but "mostly I keep walking" she would say.
My Sister is still going strong almost 7 years since her diagnosis with stage 3, she still takes her steps one day at a time and is thankful that she is seeing her young family grow up.
I was thinking about you yesterday as I myself was at the breast clinic for a check up. As you might imagine I am considered high risk, I see my oncologist every 6 months at the moment... I've had lymph nodes in my neck that didn't want to play ball.. the good news is that my mammogram and boob inspection were all clear.
Next week my daughter is going to the 'family history' clinic for the first time, she is so scared, I shall be there holding her hand and chasing after her 2 year old son.
